Well, not we.... We stayed home and watched Conference and hung with Grandma, Grandpa, J, and the Hursts all weekend. T went hunting with my cousins. They were frozen and muddy all weekend, but came back with two four by fours. Pretty good! Congrats to Tom and Chris who actually got to shoot the poor elk. T is bummed he didn't get a chance to kill Bambi's very large cousin, but hey, at least they got two for the group. Pretty good. And they had fun. Like I always say, "Nothing says home sweet home like a dead animal carcass on the wall."

Those pictures make me cold just looking at them. I've been hunting before (actually a lot as a kid)...probably wont do it again as long as I live. :-) I enjoy a nice fuzy blanket, hot chocolate and a good chick flick - that's how I would rather spend my free time on a cold, muddy day.
How fun!! This morning as we left a carcass-themed garage sale, Paul expressed interest in going hunting sometime - you should have the MEN! (it must be capitalized and pronounced with fervor whilst discussing manly things like hunting) bring him along next year. I would dearly love to see pictures of a tiny brown guy traipsing around in the frigid air (not to be confused with Frigidaire). :D Those are good looking elk, do you get to hang one on your wall now? :D Looks like fun!
